Give your climbing houseplants the support they need to grow upwards, develop aerial roots and create impressive mature growth.

Our Round Modular Moss Pole provides climbing plants with a sturdy, moisture-retaining growing surface for their aerial roots to grow into.

The honeycomb-style front gives roots access to the sphagnum moss inside, while the enclosed back helps reduce moisture loss, keeping the moss damp for longer than a completely open design.

And because the system is modular, your moss pole can grow right alongside your plant.

Why Choose Our Round Moss Pole?

🌿 Modular & Extendable
When your plant reaches the top, simply add another pole section. There's no need to replace the entire support as your plant grows.

💧 Easy Watering
The removable water drip feeder fits onto the top of the pole, making it much easier to keep the sphagnum moss hydrated.

🌱 Enclosed Back
The solid rear reduces the amount of sphagnum exposed directly to the surrounding air, helping slow moisture loss.

⬡ Honeycomb Growing Surface
Openings at the front allow aerial roots to reach and grow into the moist sphagnum moss while helping keep everything contained.

🪴 Stable Pot Stand
The stand sits securely within the potting mix to help anchor the moss pole alongside your plant.

🎨 11 Colours Available
Choose from 11 colours to complement your plant, pot or room.

Made from Durable PETG

Our moss poles are 3D printed from PETG rather than PLA.

PETG is tough and moisture resistant, making it particularly well suited to moss poles that are regularly exposed to damp sphagnum moss, water and humid growing conditions.

Designed & 3D Printed in the UK

Every moss pole is produced by Pot It Like It's Hot in the UK.

Each component is 3D printed specifically for our modular system, allowing you to add additional sections as your plant grows.

How the Modular System Works

Choose the number of pole sections you need for your plant now.

Fill each section with damp sphagnum moss, secure the stand into your plant pot and position your climbing plant against the honeycomb growing surface.

Guide stems and aerial roots towards the moss, using plant ties initially if required.

Keep the sphagnum moist using the water feeder at the top.

When your plant reaches the top of the pole, simply attach another compatible Round Moss Pole Extension and continue growing upwards. Extensions can be found here: Moss Pole Extensions | Modular Monstera Plant Support – Pot It Like It's Hot

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I fill the moss pole with?
We recommend sphagnum moss. Moisten the moss before filling the pole and gently pack it inside without compressing it excessively.

Can I extend the moss pole later?
Yes. The system is completely modular. Additional compatible sections can be attached whenever your plant approaches the top of its existing pole.

Why does the pole have an enclosed back?
The enclosed rear reduces the amount of sphagnum moss directly exposed to the surrounding air, helping it retain moisture for longer than a completely open design.

How do I keep the moss moist?
Use the removable water feeder at the top of the pole to gradually distribute water into the sphagnum. How frequently it needs refilling will depend on temperature, humidity and the height of your pole.

What is the moss pole made from?
Each component is 3D printed from durable, moisture-resistant PETG.

Can this be used for Monstera?
Yes. The pole is suitable for Monstera and many other climbing houseplants that produce aerial roots, including Philodendron, Pothos, Rhaphidophora and Syngonium.

Will using a moss pole make my plant's leaves larger?
A moss pole provides vertical support and a moist surface for aerial roots to grow into. Mature leaf size is also influenced by light, nutrition, watering and the maturity of the plant, so larger leaves cannot be guaranteed.

Please Note

As this product is 3D printed, small layer lines or minor surface variations are a normal part of the manufacturing process and make each piece slightly unique.
